The house has been developed in a rectangular plot. On the one hand, this piece of land has slope facing to the mountain, but in the other hand it has views to the neighboring buildings and they are not very beatiful at all.
The land has two different sides: one part has a lot of trees and the terrain is plane and the other one, is sloped and it hasn’t any vegetation.
In this place, the one that has many trees, it is the place where we are going to located the building. The construction respects every tree in the plot. Therefore, the house will be integrated in the landscape, respecting to the maximum the special characteristiques of the plot.
The client asked us for his desires to design the building. One of them was that he didn’t want many partition walls in the house between the different rooms. He wanted to enjoy the views from everywhere inside the house.
Thanks to the slope we designed the house playing with different elevations, and we achieved to distinguish the different rooms just with levels, without any partition wall. So from every place you can get the best out of the views.
From one side, the views were not really interesting, because you can see the neighboring buildings. To avoid this kind of constructions, we decided rotating the volume 45 degrees. With this action we have a porche area.
